Who is the controller?

What data we collect

• Enquiry form fields on Contact (name, email, phone, organisation, role brief, optional quota notes, and whether you are an employer or a candidate).
• Information you give us when you call +44 20 3318 2020 or email info@gasandoilrecruitment.com.
• Basic technical data the hosting stack may log (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and reliability.

We do not ask for payment-card details on this site. We do not run advertising pixels on these pages. With your consent, analytics and call-tracking data is collected as described under “Cookies, analytics and call tracking” below.

Why we use it

• To respond to employer mandates and candidate approaches about senior recruitment into Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
• To triage whether a brief fits this desk (employer-first commercial work).
• Where needed, to keep records of a live engagement discussion.

Legal bases we rely on in ordinary cases: taking steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and/or our legitimate interests in running a specialist recruitment desk and answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)), balanced against your rights.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as reasonably needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up recruitment work that results from it, then delete or archive it under our internal record-keeping. We do not keep open-ended marketing lists built from this form for sale.

Processors and tools

The contact form is delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). Hosting and security are provided by Cloudflare. Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4) and call tracking (WhatConverts) are described below and only run if you accept cookies. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies, analytics and call tracking

When you first visit, this site shows a cookie banner. We only use the optional tools below if you click Accept; if you click Reject or ignore the banner they stay off. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage key cc_consent_v1).

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC). Measures which pages are visited, how you arrived (for example a search or advert), device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and on-site actions such as starting a form or tapping a phone number. It uses Google Consent Mode v2 with everything set to denied by default: until you click Accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals. Google may process data outside the UK under its own safeguards.
• WhatConverts call tracking (WhatConverts LLC, USA; account 174263). Shows a tracking phone number and records which page or advert led to a call or form enquiry. For tracked calls it may log your phone number, call time and duration and, where enabled, a call recording; it also records the referring page and campaign. The WhatConverts script is not loaded at all unless you click Accept.

Lawful basis: your consent (PECR and UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). To change or withdraw consent at any time, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page, or this button: Cookie settings and choose Reject. Withdrawing consent stops further collection; it does not affect data already collected. You can also clear this site’s cookies and storage in your browser.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or objection in the usual way, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise rights with us, use the email or phone above.

This is not a California CCPA theatre page, not a careers-referral scheme, and not legal advice. Recruitment engagements (fees, exclusivity, candidate terms) are agreed separately in writing — they are not formed by reading this notice.
